Which quality?
- Normal (72 dpi): previews for chat or the web. Smallest files.
- High (150 dpi): crisp text on screen. Enough for most uses.
- Print (300 dpi): for printing or zooming in. An A4 page becomes about 2480×3508 pixels.
JPG suits photo-heavy documents, while PNG keeps text and line art sharper. Very large pages are scaled down slightly to protect your device memory.
Your files never leave your device
Most online PDF sites upload your file to a server, process it there and send it back. Pagefold loads the PDF engine into your browser and does the work on your own device. Contracts, ID scans and school records stay with you, and there is no upload to wait for on a slow connection.
